The George’s roots trace back to originally being a 1780’s coaching house.

Situated next door to the St. John The Baptist church, which is affectionately known as the Cathedral Of The Peak District, The George Inn offers a warm welcome, a wide range of well kept beers, a superb selection of wines and spirits and excellent home-cooked food.
